Abstract: Society is fashioned by the people. It is said that man is born free but everywhere is in chain and this chain is concerned with the set of rules and discipline. Law is made for the welfare of the people and society, but people are not for law. Enactment is adopted on the demand of society. It is true that society affects the law and similarly law affects society if law is infringed by anyone in any way. The core focal point of sociology is society. The study of sociology is on social order, humanoid conduct, and societal variations. Conversely, the legal aspects and law are commonly regarded as Jurisprudence. The sociological theory of law signifies that law and society are closely linked with each other. This vital school of jurisprudence contends that the law is a portent, because, it has most significant influence on the social order. Law is mainly made for the wellbeing of society. It is the function of law to make civilized society. This school of jurisprudence principally focuses on the betterment of the state.
